Focus: Learning & Community Knowledge

Emma Lamberti (she/her) serves as a Resident with a focus on learning & community knowledge. In this role, she is responsible for her personal growth and professional learning, applied knowledge, and project management as part of the Creative Generation Summer Residency Program.

Emma is currently pursuing her Bachelor in Music degree from Bucknell University, majoring in Music Education, with a primary instrument being soprano voice. She is both a passionate musician and teacher, with a large interest in creating educational spaces within music that promote equity and inclusion. Outside of academic work, she is also a dedicated community member, working with Bucknell’s Office of Civic Engagement to help lead community projects and promote student engagement with the community outside of Bucknell.

As a researcher within music and education, Emma is currently focusing on teaching music to children with autism. Additionally, she is developing an undergraduate curriculum for 21st-Century artists.

Outside of professional work, Emma loves to be outdoors, especially rock climbing, backpacking, or kayaking. Previously, she has worked as a counselor and director at Boy Scout Camp Trexler in Pennsylvania, where her focus has been on teaching boating, swimming, and training lifeguards at their lake.
