Shelby County Schools annually hosts ArtsFest! In its 10th year in 2020, this special event is designed to celebrate student achievement in the arts, engage the community in supporting students and teachers, and highlights the power of arts education as a key agent in schools. Typically, ArtsFest offers more than 1000 exemplary student works of visual art and live performances in Dance, Orff Music, Band, Choir, and Orchestra, as well as a special district wide talent showcase.
What are our goals?
1.
Revision the look and feel of ArtsFest to engage more parents, students, educators, and community decision makers.
2.
Develop strategic relations for the event to advance a pro-arts agenda with decision makers in Shelby County and beyond.
3.
Develop publications and collateral material showcasing the arts-based work of the school district.
