Former Capacity Building Specialist

Dennis Barrett (he/him) served as the Capacity Building Specialist from 2020-21 to focus on supporting the scalability of processes of the organization and its projects. He previously worked on Capitol Hill in Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley's office as a Legislative Aide handling policy issues such as arts and humanities, aging and seniors, and transportation and infrastructure through a lens of equity and justice. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, he worked for a national arts service organization implementing learning and operations initiatives. Dennis has a knack for delving into complex problems and finding creative solutions. He is a graduate of Centre College with a Bachelor's in Political Science and lives in Washington, D.C.

After his time at Creative Generation, Dennis has worked in public policy in Washington, D.C.
