VIRTUAL ACADEMY
As part of our work in the Academy for Creative Leadership, the team at Creative Generation works to expand definitions of and reimagine pathways to leadership, by creating diverse and intergenerational in-person and virtual learning communities.
The virtual Academy houses numerous free and project-specific learning opportunities.
Within the virtual Academy for Creative Leadership, the following courses are currently available:
Arts Schools Network Arts & Cultural Education Leadership Certificate
A nine-month program, which occurred from January - October 2022, emerged from a global study integrating theories of mindfulness, critical reflection, arts entrepreneurship, and educational futures to cultivate the next generation of leaders working in the cultural and education sectors. The goal of this program was to prepare individuals to reimagine the structures of leadership, evolve cultural and education ecosystems, and develop sustainable systems which cultivate the creative capabilities of young people. This course is offered to enrolled participants only.
Reinventing Strong Practices: Equitable Access to Creative Opportunity
A project of the William Penn Foundation, in partnership with WolfBrown and Creative Generation, that fosters a community of learning amongst teaching artists in Philadelphia schools in which we celebrate current practices but inspire future curiosity. This course is offered to enrolled participants only.
Designing New Futures of Arts Integration
This course hosts the preparatory materials for participants who attended “Designing New Futures of Arts Integration,” convened by the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in October 2022. This course is offered to enrolled participants only.
School for ABC Leaders Pilot
The School for ABC Leaders is an asynchronous training course to prepare the next generation of managers and collaborators from ABC Certified Schools. This course is offered to enrolled participants only.
