Former Associate, Operations & Management

Parker Stephen Nolan (he/they) served as the Associate for Operations and Management. In this role, he contributed to a portfolio of internal projects and systems supporting Creative Generation’s projects.

Parker is a born-and-raised Vermonter now living in Washington, DC. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University in April 2021 with a B.A. in Communication and Theatre Arts, and is currently pursuing his M.F.A. in Performing Arts Management virtually at Brooklyn College.

Throughout Summer 2021, Parker worked as the Communications and Operations Resident with Creative Generation, as well as Production Coordinator of the Pam Farr Summer Shakespeare Studio at The Old Globe in San Diego, CA. He is currently working full-time as the 2022-23 Arts Admin Apprentice at Studio Theatre.

Parker believes strongly in improving access and equity in the arts. Through pairing his passions of theatre and education, he aspires to strike a balance between managing a professional non-profit theatre company and teaching at the college level. He also hopes to develop programs for youth who are often unable to access arts experiences due to cost and/or lack of opportunity. He is committed to fostering diverse arts workers and leaders of all backgrounds to ultimately become the next generation of professionals the industry needs to thrive.
