ArtPlace America and Creative Generation have partnered to conduct new research focused on arts, culture, and youth development. This work will explore the intersections of creative youth development, creative placemaking, and community development through community based, youth- and practitioner-led research. By the end of the year, a series of new web-based tools and resources will be created by and for practitioners operating in this space.
To accomplish this work, ArtPlace America and Creative Generation have convened an advisory committee to help guide the research, translation of findings, and communications to stakeholders. Representing numerous stakeholder groups in the field of arts and culture, education and youth development, and community development, the intergenerational committee has been convening since September. Primary findings of this work will be shared at the ArtPlace Summit on the 30th of October. The full findings will be released in December 2020.
