This topic emerged as an area of interest among attendees at our 2020 ABLE Assembly, and we are excited to create the opportunity for deeper exploration in this area.

Conference Timeline:
Deadline for Proposals: December 15, 2020
Notification of Proposal Acceptance: December 30, 2020
Deadline to Submit Presenter Agreement: January 15, 2021
By offering a fully digital conference, we have the opportunity to create digital learning modules that support learning at any time, as well as synchronous discussions. Breakout presentations will be pre-recorded and speakers will be invited to focused discussion sessions to build from the digital learning modules they have crafted. Each digital learning module will include the recorded presentations, supporting materials, and a written component (a summary of the presentation and/or a longer paper). The combination of asynchronous digital learning modules and synchronous discussions provides conference attendees with a robust professional development experience, allowing them to engage when and how they would learn best.
Furthermore, we stand deeply committed to providing a fully accessible conference experience. This includes comprehensive captioning of all presentations, which requires that presenters provide a script for their presentations.
Ahead of the conference, presenters will be ask to complete a few tasks to support the digital delivery of the conference:
Begin Learning Module Creation: February 15, 2021
Attend Training: Week of March 1, 2021
Record Breakout Sessions: Between March 15 - 26, 2021
