#ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence

#ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence is a project that calls on teens to confront gun violence by creating new works of theatre that will spark critical conversations and inspire meaningful action in communities across the country. Our mission is to promote playwriting as a tool for self-expression and social change, harnessing this generation's spirit of activism and providing a platform for America's playwrights of tomorrow to discover and develop their voices today.

The #Enough community is changing tactics today to produce a call to action for lawmakers.

The goal: a tidal wave of messages reaching lawmakers from now through June 11th telling them ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

This is not just the usual call for teen writers. This is open to teens, adults, writers, non-writers, parents, teachers, survivors, responsible gun owners, any and all concerned Americans

We are all in this together.

We need everybody’s voice.

What you write is up to you. A monologue. A testimonial. A prayer. Prose. Poetry. Eloquent. Messy. Doesn't matter. Just ask yourself:

What do you need your lawmakers to hear?

What do you need them to DO?

RAISE YOUR VOICE!

MAKE THEM HEAR YOU!

INVITE OTHERS TO JOIN YOU!
