IRREVERENCE, COMMUNITY ARTISTIC PRACTICES AND EDUCATION
Critical and cooperative principles form the foundation of the 2nd edition of FAACCC Festival (that will take place between October the 4th and the 8th ). We aim to critically reflect and transform our roles as citizens, organizations, and policymakers. Furthermore, to generate a collective space of confusion and destruction around community arts. In this edition, we want to focus on concepts of irreverence, humour, and ugliness as political, pedagogical, and artistic tools that should allow us to critically reflect on our practices.
It is within the context of the festival that the academic congress will take place with the goal of establishing connections between practitioners and the academy. With this open call, we are aiming to recognize and elaborate on content and knowledge built around diverse perspectives and that escapes the traditional academic framework.
This call is for artists, educators and researchers from any discipline and areas of knowledge.
