Laron is a current member and performer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elgin, and he discusses the impact of the arts that allowed him to build positive relationships with staff and peers. Laron has been with the Club for over six years, and he shares how honored he is to have ongoing opportunities to meet new people and bring joy to others. His Club has Visual and Performing Arts programming, allowing Laron to find his passion in singing. Laron shares that some of his favorite memories are all of the support he has received from Club staff. He recalls all the small gestures they’ve done to make the Club feel like home.
