The Arts Education Partnership (AEP) at the Education Commission of the States is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2020 AEP Virtual Gathering. All arts and education colleagues are encouraged to register now for this year's programming held online on September 9, 11, 15 and 17.
AEP is celebrating its 25th year of serving the arts education field in the United States during the gathering, and, in recognition of barriers to access due to the pandemic, the organization is offering free registration to eliminate barriers for those interested to attend.
Currently, programming is being crafted to explore the latest research, innovative practices and emerging policy approaches to support an excellent arts education for all learners, especially those who have been historically marginalized by systemic racism and inequalities. From engaging panel discussions and keynote remarks to breakout sessions and networking opportunities, this virtual event will explore AEP's history and provide attendees with knowledge and tools for advancing their work and building broader and stronger connections in the arts education community.
